Robin Wallace is a 200-hr certified yoga instructor with more than two decades of experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Robin received her 200-hour certification at JaiPure Yoga in Montclair, NJ, earned an advanced certification in teaching yoga to cancer patients through Charlotte Stone and the Stone Center for Healing in Teaneck, NJ, and completed a teacher immersion workshop with internationally acclaimed yoga teacher Noah Maze. Robin has taught a variety of popular fitness modalities at fitness centers and health clubs across New Jersey and has an extensive background teaching therapeutic, adaptive and beginner yoga classes to vulnerable populations in non-traditional yoga settings such as hospitals, treatment centers and homeless shelters.
Robin began practicing yoga nearly a decade ago during a time of personal crisis and discovered that the physical practice and spiritual teachings of yoga yielded profound, transformational benefits for her physical and mental health. Her decision to pursue her teaching certification was inspired by her desire to share the wisdom, guidance and comfort of yoga’s foundational spiritual teachings with others. Robin’s invigorating vinyasa classes are celebrations of both sweat and spirit, combining precise alignment instruction with fluid sequencing, synchronized with the rhythm of the breath. In Robin’s gentle and therapeutic yoga classes, students are guided to use movement and breath to improve mobility, agility and stability in a safe and supportive environment.
A professional communications consultant, journalist and writer, Robin’s articles on wellness, health and yoga have been published in the New York Post, My Yoga Online, Gaiam TV, the Namaste News and The Yogi Times.
Robin and her husband Mike are the proud parents of one daughter, one son and one Maltese.
